Common questions about Generational Capital Group and the GCG Wealth System™.
What is Generational Capital Group?
Generational Capital Group is a standalone generational wealth platform that provides Virtual Family Office–style services and a subscription-based Wealth System to help families build, organize, preserve, and transfer wealth across generations with discipline and structure.
What is the GCG Wealth System™?
The GCG Wealth System™ is a three-stage framework that guides families through Learn (education), Build (structure), and Leverage (coordination). Each stage is designed to meet you where you are and guide you toward lasting impact.
Is this an accounting firm?
No. Generational Capital Group is not an accounting firm. GCG focuses on wealth coordination and legacy building. If you need bookkeeping, tax preparation, or accounting services, we can help coordinate those services through our network of certified professionals.
Do you manage investments
No. We do not manage investments or sell financial products. We coordinate the professionals you need
(CPAs, attorneys, certified financial planners, insurance specialists) to ensure you have one unified strategy
instead of fragmented advice.
Who is this for?
The GCG Wealth System™ is for individuals and families who want their wealth to serve a purpose beyond
accumulation, who value discipline over shortcuts, and who think in generations, not quarters. You don’t need to
be wealthy to start, but you do need to be serious.
How much does it cost?
The Learn stage is free. The Build stage costs $29–$49/month for access to the GCG Wealth System™ app.
The Leverage stage (Virtual Family Office coordination) is custom-priced based on your family’s needs and
complexity.
What's the difference between Build and Leverage?
Build provides the tools and systems you need to organize and manage your wealth independently. Leverage
provides human-led coordination of CPAs, attorneys, certified financial planners, and insurance specialists,
along with advanced family governance and execution support.
Do I need to complete the Readiness Assessment?
The Readiness Assessment is the recommended starting point. It helps you understand where you are and
what you need next—whether that’s education, structure, or professional coordination.
Can I skip the Learn stage and go straight to Build or Leverage?
Yes, if you’re ready. The Readiness Assessment will help determine which stage is right for you. However,
most families benefit from starting with Learn to ensure they understand the principles before building
structure.
What if I already have a CPA, attorney, and financial planner?
Great. We don’t replace your advisors—we coordinate them. Many families have good professionals but lack
coordination. That’s what we provide.
Is this right for business owners?
Absolutely. The 5 Muscles of Enterprise framework was specifically designed to help business owners
understand how to build scalable, sustainable wealth through their businesses while preparing for eventual
transition or sale.
How is this different from other wealth management firms?
Most wealth management firms focus on investment management. We focus on coordination, structure, and
family governance. We help you build a system, not manage your portfolio.
What is the Family Constitution?
A Family Constitution is a governance document that clarifies roles, responsibilities, values, and decision-
making frameworks for your family. It helps align expectations and prepare the next generation for stewardship.
How long does it take to see results?
That depends on your starting point and commitment level. Some families see clarity within weeks. Others
take months to build structure. The system is designed for long-term discipline, not short-term wins.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. The Build stage subscription can be canceled anytime. The Leverage stage involves custom
engagements with defined terms.
Will my information be kept confidential?
Absolutely. Any personal or financial information you provide is confidential and will never be sold or
shared with third parties except as required to coordinate with your chosen professionals.
What if I'm not sure which stage is right for me?
Take the Readiness Assessment. It will give you a personalized recommendation based on your current
clarity, structure, and alignment. If you’re still unsure, schedule a free clarity call.
